Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a great shopping experience for our customers by merchandising products, handling cashier duties, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment like a hand jack, floor scrubber, etc.
- Interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
