Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with store management
- Report feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures for minimized losses
- Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service and cash register operation skills
- Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
