We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Diesel Mechanic Technician II at First Student, the leading school transportation provider in North America. As a Diesel Mechanic with First Student, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability for the Belton, MO Public School District.

Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections
- Diagnose and perform repair on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, & transmissions
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders
- Assist with mobile emergency services
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required; willingness to obtain CDL while employed
- 1+ year of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience, or technical school education
- Mechanic’s tool set required
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program
- Subject to a drug test
