Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join Amazon Data Services, Inc. in our AWS Server Engineering team. As part of our passionate team, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing server products that set the standards for performance, quality, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, lead design and manufacturing partners, and drive innovative solutions to scale. Responsibilities
- Own and lead the design and development of server products.
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical needs and architect scalable solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to bring servers to the data center and oversee their performance post-launch.
- Constantly strive to improve product performance, quality, and cost.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience in system/server development for large-scale applications.
- Expertise in server technologies such as Thermal/Mechanical design, high-speed bus design, server components, BIOS, and networking.
- Experience in design and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience managing technical projects from concept to production.
- Startup experience and server validation expertise.
- Deep knowledge of deploying hardware and applications across data centers.
