Job Description
Vi Living is currently seeking an experienced Activities Manager to join our team. As an Activities Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Lifestyle staff and managing the Lifestyle department to create and implement enriching programs that contribute to the wellness of residents in Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Care.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and coordinate resident programs to enhance emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational wellness.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care and develop care plans related to lifestyle.
- Evaluate program success and modify offerings based on resident feedback.
- Supervise, train, and manage Care Center lifestyle department employees.
- Establish relationships with community resources, volunteers, and contractors.
- Lead Resident Program Committees and manage program supplies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for skilled nursing activities.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office.
- Working knowledge of long-term care.
- College degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with 1 year in dementia care.
- Therapeutic recreation specialist certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license, CPR, and First Aid certifications required.
Pay Range
USD $70,909.00 - USD $88,629.00 / Year
