Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing precise and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology while ensuring patient safety and adhering to radiation protection guidelines. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging for interpretation and maintaining a patient-centered care approach.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
  • Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
  • Conduct radiographic and patient care procedures using appropriate methods.
  • Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
  • Contribute to departmental effectiveness and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in training students and new hires.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.

Requirements

  • Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
  • Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to patient care.
