Mobile Mechanic

As one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western United States, Alpha Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to ensure our equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Handle major and minor repairs, air and electrical system troubleshooting, and minor diesel engine repairs.
• Perform suspension, brake systems, and tire maintenance.
• Maintain a clean work area and be willing to travel between markets.
• Other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic and must own tools.
• DOT certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience and CDL Class A driver's license.
