As the Health Unit Coordinator-LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients and residents. This position involves administrative support activities, including transcribing medication and treatment orders, coordinating care, and liaising with healthcare providers.

Position Highlights

• Transcribe and process health practitioner orders under supervision.
• Collaborate with staff to implement the Pharmacy Program.
• Support scheduling and maintenance of healthcare provider appointments.
• Greet and acclimate patients, visitors, and staff to nursing center policies.

Requirements

• LPN certification is required.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in medical order transcription.
• Proficiency in using computer applications like Excel and Pharmacy systems.
