Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a crucial role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. This 24x7x365 position requires a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include timely issue resolution, documentation, following policies, and providing support for installations.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and/or escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential ticketing system.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the Data Center.

Requirements

• Passion for customer experience.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in IT Support.
• Network +, Security +, or CCNA certifications desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Capability to work in cold temperature environments.
• Aptitude to maneuver pallet jacks and lift heavy objects.
• Skills in pulling and installing cabling.
