Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Operations Technician I to join Flexential, a market-based position responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining data center cleanliness, providing local access, and assisting in installations.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism during data center duties.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues.
• Support 24/7 operations and perform remote hands work.
• Assist with installations and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
• Prefer 1 year of IT Support experience.
• Network+, Security+, or CCNA certifications desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Work in cold temperatures and lift heavy objects.
• Maneuver pallet jacks and install cabling.
