Salary: $19.33 - $22.67 per hour
Location: Market-based 24x7x365 position
Description: The Data Center Operations Technician I at Flexential provides physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, following data center policies and procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a professional attitude. This role requires flexibility to work in a 24x7x365 environment and physical installations of services.
Responsibilities:

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism while performing data center duties.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document using the ticketing system.
• Follow policies, processes, and procedures.
• Provide local access and escort for vendors.
• Perform remote hands work for customers.
• Support 24/7 operations and work any shift.
• Assist with physical and logical installations.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate information.
• Handle shipping/receiving and manage security access.
• Assist Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.
• Maintain cabling and inventory levels.
• Perform other required duties.

Requirements:

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft systems.
• Self-starter with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and meeting commitments.
• Experience in IT support environment.
• Education: AA, BS, or High School Diploma.
• Network +, Security +, CCNA desired.
• Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.

Preferred:

• Physical requirements: climbing ladders, working aloft, lifting heavy objects.
• Operating pallet jacks and installing cabling.
