TOYO TIRE NORTH AMERICA MANUFACTURING INC. is seeking a talented Tire Design Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the tire manufacturing process, focusing on tire construction, performance testing, and ensuring the highest quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Create and issue experimental and production tire building specifications
- Conduct controlled experimental tire builds and coordinate testing
- Analyze test tire sections and identify failure modes
- Collaborate with Material Design Engineers on new materials evaluation
- Maintain project schedules and ensure timely project completion
Education and Experience
Engineering degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Mechanical, with one to two years of related experience
