Senior Accountant

Job Description

Avidex, a leading player in the audiovisual and IT integration industry, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in Cary, North Carolina. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in financial scrutiny, reporting, and control maintenance, working closely with the Corporate Controller to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly general ledger close and manage journal entries.
• Contribute to the annual audit process and maintain internal controls.
• Manage balance sheet accuracy through detailed account reconciliations.
• Prepare reports for senior management and assist with parent company requests.
• Provide guidance to junior accountants and undertake additional projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting or audit experience.
• Proficiency in GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systems like Blackline.
• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
