Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will be part of the 6A Medical/Surgical department, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting excellence in healthcare consumer safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and identify potential health or safety problems.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition and vital signs.
  • Modify patient treatment and care plans based on responses and conditions.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate and implement patient care.
  • Supervise less skilled healthcare personnel.
  • Provide health education and disease prevention guidance.
  • Administer nursing care and medications.
  • Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience, with at least one year in direct patient care preferred.
  • Current BLS and RN licenses required.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing practices and standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment, EPIC documentation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
