Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will be part of the 6A Medical/Surgical department, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting excellence in healthcare consumer safety and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and identify potential health or safety problems.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition and vital signs.
- Modify patient treatment and care plans based on responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate and implement patient care.
- Supervise less skilled healthcare personnel.
- Provide health education and disease prevention guidance.
- Administer nursing care and medications.
- Promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Less than 1 year of experience, with at least one year in direct patient care preferred.
- Current BLS and RN licenses required.
- Knowledge of professional nursing practices and standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment, EPIC documentation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
