Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health's team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Your role involves providing the best possible images for interpretation, ensuring patient safety, and following radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Follow policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
