Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health's dynamic team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology under supervision, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation and adhering to radiation protection principles. This position requires clinical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocol for any malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
