Radiology Technologist Full Time Afternoons

Job Description

We are currently hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology while adhering to established policies and procedures. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the best possible images for interpretation and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
• Acquire accurate patient history and monitor patients during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by using age-appropriate methods and minimizing radiation exposure.
• Effectively communicate with medical staff, administrative personnel, and patients.
• Maintain competency in diagnostic imaging equipment operation and assist in training new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification required.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying environmental conditions.
