Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Full Time Radiology Technologist position at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire and document accurate patient history in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and utilize age-appropriate methods.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to relevant policies.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
