Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a crucial member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures, thereby minimizing downtime effectively. Your role will involve analyzing data, collecting oil samples, and providing support to plant operations to ensure optimal equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Submit work orders for scheduling repairs during planned maintenance downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend immediate shutdown of equipment when necessary to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime due to machine failures.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Prior experience in predictive maintenance technology in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to obtain Pdm-related certifications if not already possessed.
