Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join TOYOTI1 full-time. As part of the team, you will play a vital role in utilizing reliability equipment to analyze, detect potential machine failures, and minimize downtime. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing data to predict pending failure, using various technologies for data collection, collaborating with maintenance planners, and ensuring equipment functionality through proactive measures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend shutdown equipment for immediate repairs to avoid catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings as required.
• Initiate plans to improve and extend the life of manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years of experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience considered; Pdm certifications a plus.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
