Med Care Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner while providing quality care and services. You will play a vital role in promoting the highest degree of care and services to our residents in alignment with our mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Document medication administration and communicate any resident concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized Medication Room and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Participate in resident care communications and risk management activities.
• Contribute to team success by actively engaging in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED; certifications in CPR and First Aid may be required.
• Prior experience working with seniors and a desire to provide compassionate care.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions in challenging situations.
• Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
