Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Operations Management Trainee Program as a Management Trainee at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. This 16-week intensive training program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to kickstart your career in operations within the transportation industry.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive training program focusing on transportation industry principles, cross-dock operations, leadership communication, and relationship building.
- Engage in guided independent study and practical experiences alongside industry experts and mentors.
- Accompany Account Managers on customer sales calls and drivers on local delivery routes to gain hands-on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Acceptable driving history meeting Company standards.
- Willingness to relocate after completing the training program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and a high level of professionalism.
Salary
Average Annual Starting Pay: $50,000-$60,000
