Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Job Description

Toyo Tires North America Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team at our new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia as Apprentice Maintenance Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for basic preventive maintenance on advanced production machinery, including robotic-driven equipment with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Key responsibilities include working on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, oil lubrication, and performing tasks related to PLCs, AC & DC servo drives.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or Associate's degree
• Two or more years of mechanical experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, oil lubrication, PLCs, AC & DC servo drives

This position may require working night shifts, weekends, and holidays in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled. Successful candidates will be effective learners, with good problem-solving skills, high frustration tolerance, and the ability to work well both independently and in teams.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting of objects up to 80 pounds

Experience

Required: 2 years of maintenance experience on industrial equipment

Preferred: 1 year of experience in lubrication of industrial equipment

Education

Required: High School or equivalent
