Job Description

The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support to clients in residential and outpatient settings.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals with psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and integrated care.
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in Tennessee.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Experience in working with special populations, computer experience in a healthcare setting, and excellent people and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and technology, as well as the ability to quickly learn new software products.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including exposure to biological hazards, lifting, pushing/pulling, and use of verbal and physical de-escalation techniques (Handle with Care).
