Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and collaborating with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the store management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and within a team environment.
- Maintain organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
