Electrician

Job Description

We are hiring an Electrician to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and sustainable food production, contributing to the nourishment of the world. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation of $28.25/hr with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation solutions for controlling plant processes.
• Design and configure control systems, oversee electrical and instrumentation functions.
• Identify areas for improvement and reliability, provide training on completed projects.
• Participate in training and development courses by HR, vendors, and consultants.

Requirements

• Permanent work authorization in the U.S without sponsorship.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Experience reading and analyzing electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team player, self-starter who can work well independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Cargill experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of continuous and batch process control strategies.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens control systems.
• Understanding of reliability-centered maintenance, planning, and scheduling.
