Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains its pristine appearance. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will elevate the customer shopping experience through exceptional service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, tidy shelves, and provide top-notch customer service
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain cash handling procedures
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform assigned tasks as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and cash register skills
- Proficient in operating equipment and performing general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Adherence to state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Retail experience preferred
- Educational background or equivalent work experience
