Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving and stocking merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and maintain high-quality standards.
- Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaborative work environment.
- Adaptable, drives for success, and organizes work efficiently.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, perform basic arithmetic, and follow instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in various temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
