Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology team at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI. As part of our state-of-the-art facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical skills such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Assist in surgical procedures and recovery processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing support and information about their pet's status.
- Advocate for patient care and build long-term relationships with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in veterinary medicine.
- CVT certification required.
- Ability to lift and handle patients up to 50lbs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for animal care.
- Availability for on-call rotation.
