Catapult Learning, a national organization with over 45 years of student impact, is seeking dedicated Summer Journey Teachers. As part of the team, you will provide contracted instructional services in literacy, mathematics, STEM, and related content areas to small groups of K-12 students in various NYC boroughs, including the Bronx, Staten Island, Manhattan, and potentially Long Island. The role involves delivering program material, keeping students engaged, and communicating student progress to parents.
Responsibilities
- Customize targeted lesson plans using provided resources.
- Maximize instructional time to meet student needs through differentiation.
- Establish an educational environment that fosters learning goals and connects lessons.
- Use data to scaffold and differentiate instruction effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and teaching experience.
- Belief in the potential of all students to learn.
- Proficiency in online platforms for record keeping and communication.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- Availability for the duration of the program.
