Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. This full-time position offers approximately 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of handling general cleaning tasks and following company procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent.
