Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Store Operations Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating an exceptional customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaborate with the ALDI team to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies and maintain data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and ability to follow company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is an advantage
