Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your duties will include assisting physicians, monitoring patient hemodynamics, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, patients, and families.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on technical equipment and maintain radiation safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide training to other techs as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- 3+ years of Interventional experience and expertise in clinical skills.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications.
- Strong computer, math, communication, and customer service skills.
