Boeing is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineering Manager to join the Fighters Vehicle Simulation organization. In this role, you will lead a team of software managers and engineers in developing flight simulation software for the F-15 training system. The position involves working on high-fidelity training simulations for domestic and international customers, contributing to the defense of U.S. allied countries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage personnel and ensure a fully staffed and trained team
• Drive technical planning and execution
• Provide guidance to ensure engineering excellence practices are implemented
• Interface with Air Force customer counterparts
• Support program management and systems engineering reviews
• Manage secure computing development lab spaces
• Perform RFP review and software estimating activities
• Coordinate with other Boeing Engineering teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in a software leadership role
• 5+ years of experience in software development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile software development methodology
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience with training simulation software development

This role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
