Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer Manager to join our team at Boeing, a company committed to innovation and global impact. In this role, you will lead a team developing high-fidelity training simulation software for the F-15 training system. You will be responsible for managing personnel, driving technical planning and execution, ensuring software engineering best practices, and interfacing with customers for program support.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel resources and ensure team readiness.
- Drive technical planning, execution, and Earned Value Management.
- Provide guidance on software engineering design practices and quality initiatives.
- Coordinate with Air Force customer counterparts and support program management reviews.
- Manage software development lab spaces and perform RFP reviews.
- Oversee employee performance management and career development.
- Collaborate with other Boeing Engineering teams for software product validation and distribution.
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in a technical field.
- 3+ years of software leadership experience and 5+ years in software development.
- Experience with Agile methodology, Earned Value Management, and training simulation software is desirable.
