Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about practical cryptography, designing secure software solutions, and contributing to open source initiatives, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, prioritizing, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers to deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools and libraries for internal and external customers worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Previous mentoring or tech lead experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
