Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in building secure encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data for AWS customers. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cryptographic solutions, ensuring the highest level of security for AWS services and enabling customers to securely transition workloads to the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, from design to implementation.
- Operate AWS services across global servers and customer bases.
- Develop foundational libraries using languages like C and Rust to enhance AWS security.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience in designing scalable systems and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
