Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about practical cryptography, software security, and building secure encryption tools, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers, delivering secure and reliable services using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools and libraries.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience leading design or architecture of systems.
- Previous mentorship or leadership experience in engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
