Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. As the Senior Development Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of funders, devising fundraising strategies, and cultivating new relationships to support community development initiatives. This role requires collaborating with program teams, preparing funding proposals, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to shape fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate program details for funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit funding proposals and stewardship documents.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
• Track record in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in grant writing and design skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
