Job Description
We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team at SMG Corporate Services in Deep River, CT. This is a full-time position on the 3rd shift, including weekends, with a pay rate of $16.33 per hour. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in protecting and securing the businesses we serve. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving security situations, as well as providing excellent customer service and assistance to clients and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
- Respond to emergency situations, alarms, and unauthorized individuals.
- Maintain access control of premises and provide high levels of customer service.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Security experience preferred.
- Must possess a State Issued License as Security Officer or meet necessary requirements.
- Successful background check and access to reliable transportation.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Good understanding of Security Operations and Safety Practices.
