Job Description

We have an exciting opening for a Residential Associate position at ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. As part of the direct care team, you will be supporting adults with serious mental illness by assisting in the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping, preparing meals, administering medication, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This is a temporary position which offers multiple work schedules and competitive compensation.

Work Schedule

  • Monday and Tuesday 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Part Time, Swing)
  • Sunday through Tuesday 7:30pm - 6:00am (Part Time, Night) - This is a temporary position ending January 31st, 2025.
  • Thursday through Saturday 9:00pm - 7:30am (Part Time, Night) - This is a temporary position ending January 31st, 2025.

Salary

A competitive hourly wage of $20.00 - $22.00, depending on experience and credentials, with an additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential and a 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field; OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting; OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.
  • Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must have a valid Oregon driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to talk, listen, use hands and fingers, stand, walk, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the ability to occasionally sit, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.
