Banner Health is searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Observation PCU in San Tan Valley, Arizona. This full-time day shift opportunity requires the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of nursing care in line with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and provide age-appropriate care for patients. Essential functions include patient assessment, care planning, direct patient care, evaluation of patient's response, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs.
• Formulate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and medical plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare activities.
• Evaluate patient and family response to care, revising the plan of care as needed.
