As a Registered Nurse in Long-term Acute Care, you'll be responsible for providing extended hospital care to patients, focusing on patient needs and being a resourceful problem solver in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
- Conduct initial and on-going systematic patient assessments.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and interpretation of assessments/diagnostic data.
- Promote continuous quality improvement and respond to life-saving situations.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing education and support to patients and families.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse RN experience.
- Active RN license, current CPR/BLS certification, and physical and TB/PPD required.
- Verifiable work history and professional references required.
