Job Description
CareerStaff Unlimited is currently seeking Registered Nurses for full-time contract positions in Newark, OH. The Registered Nurse cares for patients who require an extended hospital stay and has a strong focus on patient care, problem-solving, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive admission and / or transfers to the unit.
- Perform initial and on-going systematic patient assessments.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Interpret assessments / diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Respond to life-saving situations and act as a patient advocate providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image.

Credentials Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse RN experience.
- Registered Nurse degree from an accredited institution and active RN license required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, physical and TB/PPD required.
- Verifiable work history and professional references required.
