Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and support to hospice patients and their families. Reporting to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager Senior, you will be responsible for managing patient care, facilitating communication between the healthcare team, and ensuring the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to hospice patients and their families.
• Manage an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of hospice care.
• Evaluate patient and family needs and contribute to the development and execution of individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical records.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.

Requirements

• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude.
• Active RN license (or ability to obtain) in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospice, home health, or oncology nursing.
