Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Program Director to oversee and manage the federal TRIO Upward Bound Program. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the program to ensure the successful development and growth of participants. This position plays a pivotal role in empowering students to excel in their secondary and postsecondary education journeys. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement all program activities in alignment with the TRIO Upward Bound Plan of Operation.
  • Ensure program goals are met according to federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Promote program awareness among key stakeholders and maintain collaborative partnerships.
  • Manage federal funds, financial records, and program budget effectively.
  • Lead the planning and execution of program events and activities with partner organizations.
  • Attend professional development offerings and training to stay current in the field.
  • Provide curriculum development and guidance for academic year and summer components.
  • Supervise and develop a team of employees to enhance project management and leadership skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal grant regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for program evaluation.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Education and Outreach Services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college/university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in staff supervision, budget management, and program development.

Preferred:

  • 2-3 years of experience in TRIO programs or similar initiatives for disadvantaged students.
  • Professional or personal experience in overcoming barriers similar to program participants.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Compensation

Yearly Salary: $59,000 - $62,400
