Night Shift People Leader, Food Mfg.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift People Leader to join our manufacturing team at Shearers. Based in Waterford Township, PA, this position is key to ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, customer service, productivity, cost, and continuous improvement objectives during the night shift (7PM - 7AM). As a People Leader, you will provide clear direction, leadership, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, coaching, and on-the-job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Direct employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product
• Enforce safety and sanitation rules and principles to provide a safe workplace
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Company regulatory requirements
• Participate in the evaluation and training of hourly personnel to maintain positive employee relations
• Track employees’ work performance and attendance to ensure performance metrics are met
• Evaluate and improve work processes using metrics/data and maintain line-related system and regulatory documentation
• Coordinate operations and activities within or between departments by collaborating with other supervisors and cross-functional teams
• Plan and establish work schedules

Requirements

• 4 year degree in a related field such as food science, operations management, or engineering OR equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a production, operations management, or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry
• Bilingual - Spanish and English a plus
