Mental Health Skills Trainer - Psychiatric Security Review Board - Supportive Housing - Part-time

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Skills Trainer to join Marion County's Health and Human Services team. This position involves working with individuals under the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) jurisdiction, providing skills training, case management, and support for daily living to promote independence and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group skills training services based on individualized service plans.
• Provide PSRB supervision and monitoring to ensure compliance with release orders.
• Maintain the supportive housing setting, including residence upkeep and supply management.
• Collaborate with team members, clinicians, and community partners to deliver comprehensive services.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant behavioral health services experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Current MHACBO Qualified Mental Health Associate certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work 33 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
