The Member Experience Lead (MEL) at VASA Fitness is a pivotal role responsible for creating an uplifting experience for both members and team members. As a positive and diligent leader, the MEL embodies our brand's culture and values, driving the club towards exceptional results. This role involves recruiting, coaching, and continually developing a high-performing team, ensuring an exceptional brand experience for guests and members, and supporting the General Manager in operational and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the 'UPLIFT' culture in the club
  • Recruit, hire, and train Member Experience Specialists (MES) team members
  • Maintain the club's welcoming and non-intimidating atmosphere through exceptional member and guest experiences
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to forecast staffing needs and conduct interviews
  • Lead by example by embodying the brand's values and culture
  • Support the General Manager in creating and achieving sales plans
