Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant II to join our Neurology team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. As a key member of our clinical care delivery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality and safe patient care while maintaining efficient operational flow.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team lead, guiding other clinical team members and resolving issues.
• Utilize advanced Epic knowledge to troubleshoot issues and assist with process enhancements.
• Mentor and train new Medical Assistants to uphold practice standards.
• Perform clinical duties including patient preparation, assistance during examinations, and conducting diagnostic tests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years of Medical Assistant experience with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and advanced computer skills.
• Experience with EMR maintenance and clinical quality/improvement processes.
